Emily's Future is Now aims, on a non-profit basis, to:

Identify and disseminate information about the genetic disease merosin-deficient muscular dystrophy LAMA2-CMD.

Raise awareness and gain the attention and support of the general public through long-term information campaigns.

Organise events, rallies or other projects to raise funds for the association.

Allocate the funds raised to scientific research, in particular to the BIOZENTRUM at the University of Basel and more specifically to the start-up company SEAL Therapeutics AG www.biozentrum.unibas.ch/research/technology-ventures/overview-3 .

To attract the attention of pharmaceutical companies to stimulate research to find and develop a cure for patients with LAMA2-CMD.

Promote the social integration of LAMA2-CMD patients

To exchange information with other European and worldwide LAMA2-CMD merosin muscular dystrophy deficiency associations.
